I had the same brand. Mine was making some really strange noises for a couple of months. From the looks of what was in teh pan something really tore itself apart. Trans still works but Im not going to tear into it again. Sucks to only be able to use it for a couple of months after putting time and effort into rebuilding it.

I dont have any of the reciepts and its doubful that Id get anywhere, anyhow, so I guess Im screwed. Im fed up with this trans, anyhow, so Im going to switch over to a TKO. Hopefully Ill ahve better luck with that then Ive had with my 700's

tremecs are good! much better than the t-56......yeah, i'm also going over to a standard....i think they're more reliable...and one has an easier time rebuilding them too...i think. 500 or 600? can you still get the TKO? i know they don't make them anymore.

They still make them. They come in two flavors. I was thinking of the TKO-500 since I have 2.77's. The 600 would be nice, but the higher ratios probably wouldnt fly with the highway gears. Either is overkill for me since I just have a mild vortec 350.
