hey guys, just picked up a dana44 rear, and im looking to put 3.92 gears in it... well, i need to get a 3 series carrier, as the current gears are 3.54's and are on a 2 series carrier.

(dana's 2 series goes up to 3.54, and there 3 series starts at 3.92)

my question is, a differential case can be bought brand new for 60 bucks or so, but will that mean i can take my current series two diff and just transfer the guts?
