Engine: built 305, stock 305 tpi
Transmission: Corvette 700r4, t-5
Axle/Gears: 4.10 posi, 3.08 posi
Cheapest torque converter?
Hey guys i'm looking for the cheapest torque converter i can get with a higher than stock stall speed. thanks for any help.

lol. its for a 700 i'm rebuilding. I've heard that you can use an S-10 torque convert and they are like a 1800-2000 rpm stall. Is there any truth to this?

I have heard the same rumor but havent confirmed it...so I guess thats not much help...sorry

Also a stock L98 Vette converter is supposedly a bit higher than that and is also inexpensive.
