T-5 question???

OK, Ive been thinking and wondering lately, why wont a Mustang WC T-5 work in a Camaro? I mean, cant you just swap tailshafts or is there way too much differant, like shift forks, inpur shafts, synchros, etc??? Ive just been curious how much of a differance to these there are. I know on my 89 LX it sits straight up but on a Camaro T-5, it supposedly sits a bit crooked or something.

Just a thought

yes, on a camaro, it leans towards the driverside, as to why it won't work, I have no idea.

i beleive the location of the ears on the main case are diffrent.

even if you swap the tail shaft, the output shaft has the wrong number of splines... i don't believe the mustangs used a 27 spline output on the t-5's... of course i could be wrong....
