Ok, I striped another speedo gear, driven gear, and the Drive gear looks like it has a couple bad spots on it causing it.
My friend has brand new in the box TCI Pro Super 700R4 Overhaul Kit w/ shift kit and Richmond 3.73 gears he is bugging me to buy cause he sold his car.
So first my car has a G80 GU2(10 bolt Posi 2.73) he had a '91 RS one-wheeler (thats all I know), aren't they different? Would 3.73 be too much for my car?
I have heard replacing the speedo drive gear is a pita, so I'm going to have a shop do it. So that would be as good as time as any to rebuild and beef it up. I dunno much about TCs but I have heard some good about using V6 S-10 conveters, and we have a guy down here that runs an all S-10/S-15/Sonoma salvage yard. What else should I consider? High performance servo?
