stock 700r4 behind a stock lt1?

stock 700r4 behind a stock lt1?
how long does anyone think my stock 154,000mi th700r4 would last behind a stock lt1?

Depends totally on how the 700r4 was treated, they're great trannys if you keep em maintained, didn't beat; it up it shouldn't have (m)any problems.

Axle/Gears: 4th Gen Rear 3:42
to save you the trouble i would go for the 4L60E tranny, because you will have to program the LT1 PCM to read the 700r4 and get someting to convert a cable driven seepdo to a electronic one so the PCM can read it. Too much trouble, OR just go for the T-56 swap.

If he has a 90 bird, ,his tranny has an electronic sender.
