700r4 actig weird!

hi,i need some advice from you guys,my tranny is doing strange stuff lately,if i drive on regular speeds it shifts fine, but anything above half trottle and it neutralizes itself and i have to move the lever to neutral and then back to od to put the tranny back in gear.
it was happening only in the 2-3 shift but now it is also happening while in overdrive.
is there any short term fix available or do i have to send it to the shop?

thanks in advance

Check the fluid level? I don't know what happens if the fluid is too low, but it can't hurt to check it.

Except for fluid and filter change, Almost nothing inside an auto trans is not easily fixed by backyard mechanics. The 700r4 is possibly the most complicated rear wheel drive trans out there. If you are not 100% sure of what you are doing, it is best to let a pro handle it. You will save money and grief in the long run.
