mechanical clutch linkage
mechanical clutch linkage
I was wondering if anybody has any pics of their mechanical clutch linkage setup. Also what bellhousing from Lakewood are you using as my clutch fork is going to hit the floor in the car. The transmission is a Doug Nash 5 speed and the bellhousing is a Lakewood unit that I think is pretty much the generic small block chevy one. Also if this does not work has anybody put in a hydraulic bearing with an aftermarket master cylinder such as a Wilwood one. Thanks in advance for any help.

All the 3rd gen's w/mech. clutch linkage require a special bellhousing with the fork opening angled downward so the end of the clutch fork will clear the floor. The "standard" Chevy belhousing won't work.

The Lakewood 15015 is for 82-83 f body with mechanical clutch linkage. It is drilled for the Saginaw 4 speed,Borg Warner T10 4 speed,or a Borg Warner T5 5 speed.I then run the HD Lakewood clutch fork sold in Jegs or Summit with no problems.
