Please LOOK

OK so here is my question. I have my old 700R4 that worked great before my motor install. When I installed the trans back in with the new motor I didn't get the torque convertor on all the way. When I started the motor and tried to move the car nothing happened. I suspected that I just burnt up the front pump. Could that be all thats wrong with it or do you guys think that it's more in depth?? Please let me know your opinions. Thanks

Did you lose fluid? Any leaks?

Trans didn't lose any fluid, leak, or anything of that sort.

If the torque converter was not fully seated you likely broke the pump. Prepare for a big bill to fix it.

If you are lucky, you only broke the pump. If the trans ran with no pump pushing fluid, you may have smoked it as well. If you have a spare pump, swap it out and hope for the best.
