i have a 90 camaro that i just replaced the 305 with a 350. i wanted to have a new transmission in it. so i asked a friend if he could get me one well he did and he and the guy he got it from said it would work. well the old one was a borg warner t-5 and the new one is a world class borg warner t-5 that came out of a mustang. at this point and time the transmission will not go into gear when the engine is running but will when it is not. if you try to start it when in gear the car likes to creep forward. all suggestion and ideas are welcome please and if any one knows that this really should work

 

Sounds like your clutch is not disengaging. try bleeding the clutch master cylinder.

 

Definately sounds like a clutch issue.

Forget to put the release bearing in?

 

i have bleed the slave cylinder. the release bearing is in

 

Something got goofed in the install, i would split the trans from the engine and check the pressure plate for damage.

 

How did you get one from a Mustang in there?
