Are the $99 zexel rear end take-offs still available? Where?

no they are not available from SLP anymore. you may find one on e-bay, or off of an LS1 F-body in a junkyard, good luck.

They are great for straight line, but for hard cornering they end up acting like an open rear since they are torque biased.
It mulitplies the torque from one wheel to the other but if one wheel, like the inside wheel when cornering has no grip then it just spins since 0 torque times anything = zero.
