Heres what Im thinkin.

Stock 10-bolt to start with
3.73s
Posi or powertrax locker (which one?)
rear end girdle
weld axle tubes to housing
possibly 28 spline axles, depending on carrier I guess?

My main concern is te carrier. Ive got an GU4, open 3.08. It came out of my 89, which Ive heard is the changeover for GMs rear end. Do I have a 7.5" or 7.625"? What spline axles did the GU4 rear end come with? Like lets say it came with 26 spline. Can I get a carrier for 28 spline for my housing?

And Im still not sure if I wanna go with an eaton posi (or some other clutch0type posi), or the powertrax "locker". Like most people, this is gonna be a street/strip car. I got a guy to build my rear for me, so as long as I get the right parts he'll make em work
