Looking for a shop in Cincinnati
Well I just drove 900+ miles from Florida to Cincinnati. I'm in Cincinnati for my job. I am relocating. I guess the 80+mph for over 900 miles did in my 152,000 mile 700r4. It'll cruise at steady speed in 4th, but any acceleration or incline and it starts to slip like crazy. All shifts(1-2, 2-3) are very slow and extra soft. Was planning on doing the T56 swap but I am living in a hotel until I can find a house and all of my tools are still in Florida. Gotta get the tranny fixed. Son-of-a-... Mo money, mo money, mo money.
Unless someone knows of a reputable shop near Cincinnati that can do an excellent job on swapping to the T56 for me I'm going to just have the 700r4 rebuilt. If I must have the auto rebuilt, I want to find, again, someone reputable that does excellent work.
Anybody have any shops they would recommend?

There must be someone near Cincinnati/Dayton/Covington/Florence that does good work...
He'p me.
I'm sure if I start calling places they'll all say they do great work. With my luck I'd be back at their shop on a rollback 20 minutes after I drive off because my front clip fell off and they'd claim it was like that when I came in then I'd have to hurt someone and go to jail, get fired from my new position, then my wife would divorce me. All over a tranny rebuild. Now I know none of you would want that to happen, even though it would be a good story. Suggestions welcome.

Alright I get it. I should have checked about the shops in the area before I moved here. There has to be one. I suppose it shall be left to me to find it/them.
Wow I feel like Lewis and Clark. Well either Lewis or Clark, not both, but I don't know which one. Maybe someone can tell me which one they think is cooler, Lewis or Clark and that's the one I'll be.
Anyway back to the tranny. I'm thinking I'll find someone to R&R it and I'll order a Pro-Built. Anybody see a problem with that? Am I holding a conversation with myself? Will this thread get locked or deleted if nothing useful is interjected? To find out tune in later this week. Same thirdgen forum. Same thirdgen post.

if you can give me till tomorrow at about lunch time, i will ask some of the sales people at work. we sell a lot of parts in cinci. i will see what i can find.
one of the local third gen. groups seems to like cincinnati transmission specialist. i don't personally know anything about them.
