From 2.77 to 3.41
Can I pull the whole carrier out of a rear with 7.5" 3.41 gears and drop them in my 7.5" 2.77 rear assuming the axle spline count is the same?

2.77 is a 7.75' BW gear axle ratio (9 bolt)
3.416(3.42) is 7.5/7.625" saginaw gear axle ratio (10 bolt)
are you sure you have 2.77's in your rear? and not 2.73's?
if you currently have a DO have a 10 bolt what is stated above is correct. the two rear ends' parts cannot interchange.

Your right I had 2.73 and now I have 3.42. I was going to just swap the gears but the pinion gear had fused to the inner race so it would not come out. Good news is that since I needed a different rear end I found a 3.42 posi rear for $150. Everything is swaped now, hopefully I can get my new cam and stall in by Thursday so I can post up some lower track times.
