okay. well i have a 84 berlinetta with a 350 turbo tranny and 383 stroker... i don't know what year the tranny is, and i know its not the stock tranny.
i need a torque converter for it and when i go to advance they look it up by the year of the vehicle and such.. so what make and model could i tell them that will give me a matching torque converter.. i have a friend who is giving me a discount on it. thats why i'm getting it from advance

if it has an electrical connector, it is a lock-up type. i looked on advance's website and couldn't find a listing for a lock-up converter. summit only lists 2. one from tci and one from hughes. go to a transmission parts store, not auto parts, and ask for a th350 lock-up converter. they shouldn't even have to ask what vehicle.
