clutch job sqweeling after
i got a 2.8 with 5 spd and i redid the clutch a couple weeks ago, works totally fine but the last few days when the car is in nuetral and clutch pedal out there is a sqweeeling and when the pedal is pressed in the noise goes away. What im hearing is that the throw out bearing?
my clutch job included machined flywheel, clutch disk, pressure plate, pilot bearing, and throw out bearing.
i remeber rolling the throw out bearing and it was super smooth, my old one was very ruff and worn out and never made a noise at all.

There is an article in tech central that deals with a squeeling clutch noise https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/t...ngclutch.shtml
I hope this link helps, it would suck if it was something serious!

the last few days have been realy cold out and i only hear a noise when the enigne is past 2,800 rpm untill the car is warmed up. its not sqeeling at idle anymore just when the cars cold and im driving past 2800rpm.
so i guess the throw out has to be replaced again? what kind of damage am i doing if i dont replace it? after the cars warmed up it is just fine
