They are pretty simple to replace, i reccomend air tools, the crossmember bolts are usually pretty tight and rusted and if your not carefull they can break. But just place a jack under the tranny, remove the crossmember, remove the bolts holding the shredded mount, put new mount in reinstall crossmember. Its a pretty easy job maybe takes an hour all together.

I've never done one up untill it broke on me. So it took me about 10mins. to replace. Just pick up a new tranny mount and jack up your tranny. The mount, since its broken, will separate and your tranny will jack up easy. Than I used 17mm socket to get the nuts off the bolts. Yours might be different. Than there might be some fitment issues due to the mount not aligning totally. So, just use a crowbar and move the tranny a bit to where it aligns. That would probably be the biggest part of changing a mount.
Good luck.
Good luck.

The esiest way to tell a tranny mount is comparing the new one you bought to the bottom back end of the tranny. You will see where it is, very easy. If not just do a quick search ( I know) that what helped me find it.

Don't BS on the TV cable thing. 700R4's use these...
Do a few searches around and you'll find a lot about the TV cable & adjusting it, but be very careful because if you adjust it incorrectly you can damage or destroy the transmission. If this is an older transmission, it could also be the valve body spring. If this is the case, adjusting the TV cable may appear to fix the problem, but could actually make things worse. I'd get a replacement spring and/or valve body before going any further.
