Real high idle..

Real high idle..
Lately when I have the car in park it will idle at about 1500-2k rpm's but when I put in drive it goes back down to 500-750 rpm's. What's going on? Sorry if this is a stupid question but thanks for any help.

Axle/Gears: 2.73 drum WS6
Probably more igntion oriented. BUt it could be your TV cable.
Also vacum leaks do this as well.
So start checking for those.
Make sure your IAC (if its a TBI) is in good working order.
