t-5 to 700r4 ?

t-5 to 700r4 ?

I’m swapping from a t-5 to a 700r4 and i need to know what the 4 pin connector on the side of the 700 is for? Or what wire dose what?

i believe thats where the speedo wire hooks up...not too sure though. did you get all the swap parts/did you sell the t5 swap? also about either swap, how important is it to change comp chips? not to steal the thread, but i thought he might want to know as well.

That would be for the TCC, without the lockup operational youll cook your trans as the run quite a bit hotter.

We converted burtalforms 92 over to a 700r4. The wiring was not too big a deal. The connector you speak of is the torque converter lock up.

That question cannot be answerd simply. You need wiring diagrams. Brake pedal switch, speedo, tcc, ecm ,neutral safety switch etc need to be wired together. Took us most of the day to get it done.

donor car wiring switches etc
doesnt have to be a third gen f body specifically

any 700r4 car or truck can be the wiring switches donor
