This isn't in a f-body,but the engine is the same none the less. The car is an 86 monte carlo, and its currently having some trouble. When you come to a stop, the engine car shudders forward, instead of stopping smooth. It seemed to have an issue with initial acceleration, and definately had trouble w/ the 1-2 shift. We addjusted the tv cable via the directions on the tech articles board, and the 1-2 shift problem has gone away,its shifting into second nice and firm, at about 18 mph or so. However, there's still a terrible shudder type situation coming from the car when stopping, and i keep thinking it may be tranny related. Also, the car has some trouble if it slows, and gets to that shutter point, and then, you try to accelerate again, simply don't undertand what's going on w/ her. Can anyone help me out?

 

Sorta sounds like the torque converter clutch is staying engaged.
