i just took apart my '99 ls1 rear end... i need to know the best way to store all the internals, so they don't rust, for the next 7 months or so. I was thinking to just keep them in the bucket of oil that i drained from the axel. or should i just spray them in oil and put em in a plastic garbage bag?

Bucket of oil would be best.
