Tranmission Shipping

Has anyone shipped a transmission before and who would be the best company to use? My grandpa is giving me the transmission out of my cousins camaro but he is in Illinois and im in Texas. Also who makes a good shift kit for the 700r4? im running a 305 TBI wiht about 210 hp 265 ft/lb

Dana is shipping me a Pro-Built 700R4 from CA to HI, I'll post the shipping info when received. The estimate was several days, about $200, we'll see what the reality is when the invoice lands.
