Engine: 383 carbed
Transmission: Th 400 tci super street
Axle/Gears: 3:42 9 Bolt
t-5 to th350 or th400

i was tryin to search around but cant really get any good info soo... wat is exactly needed to do this swap an which one would be the easier trany to us?

Transmission: 700R4, 2800 stall
I just rebuilt the 700R4 in my Z, and if you'r interested and live in So-Cal, I would trade you all the trans, and parts for the T-5 and all parts. I would rather have the 5 or 6 speed in the car than the auto.

sorry i need a turbo 350 or 400... i have a 383 rdy for nitrous goin in i need a serious trans

Transmission: TH400 with brake, 8" PTC converter
Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11
both trannies fit, unless you're making huge power a TH350 is fine. You would remove all the hydraulic clutch stuff and pop in the auto, fab up a plate for the hole in the floor and mount up an aftermarket shifter. I did it and swapped to auto pedals as well, pretty straightforward.
