Flywheel ???
I am building a 383 stroker and i received a new flywheel and i was wondering if the weights that are welded to it on one side matters what side faces the engine. Basically are the weights supposed to face the engine or the tranny.
Thanx NICK

I'm away on business right now but If I remember correctly, yes the balancing weights do face towards the engine. I will look at one of my engines when I get home on Sunday if nobody has replied on this yet. I just wanted to help clear up the flywheel flexplate thing for ya after seeing some confusion brewing . Cheers!
