85 700r4 on LS1

Engine: L03, LS1

Transmission: 700R4, T56

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that

85 700r4 on LS1

I am aware that late model 700R4s fit onto LS1s but is a 85 700R4 considered one of those late models?

All V8 700r4s will work with the LS1. The 85 however doesnt have the updated internals. You would want to look for an 87 or 88 and later. I believe its 88 though. Im sure someone will chime in and say exactly what year.

Its a street strip rebuild. Take 450HP easy.
