A fellow coworker is looking to sell me his used TCI torque converter, a super streetfighter, stalls around 3000k, w/ anti balloning plate. for 150$. he says he made two passes in it, and still needed a higher stall converter, and took it out. Its basically brand new. summit sells it for 440 new. 700r4 type.

I think this is a steal, and would be the missing link in my drivetrain. I have 3.42s waiting to go in also, and w/ this tc and my 350HO, i would guess low 13s...

what do you guys think?
