hello all, im new here.just picked up 90 rs with no motor or trans.the guy said it was an 6cyl,now i have a 350/350 trans thats going in.what trans did 1990 rs come with.I have read alot on here about the swap.Whats the easiest way to put the 350 trans in with no BS.Thanks a million and looking foward to talking to yas.

 

I can tell you that if the car was originally an auto, it came with a 700R4 tranny.

I am not sure if you need to get a special crossmember or modify driveshaft length to put in a TH350, that will have to be answered by somebody else. Something tells me the TH350 will need a longer driveshaft, but I am not sure.

Also, you will need to rig something up for the Torque Arm from the rear end (connects to tranny on a 700R4).
