T.A. diff on third gen can it happen?

T.A. diff on third gen can it happen?
i found a perfect donor car for my third gen the only thing i need to know is will a 76-77 trans am rear end posi go into my diff and if not will the whole rearend swap over or should i just junk the idea

Axle/Gears: Moser 9"/4.11 Trac-Lok
2nd Gens have leaf spring rears & have 8.50" ring gear
3rd Gen rears are coil spring with a torque arm & have a 7.50" ring gear.
One's not gonna fit the other. Keep lookin'.
