how much time will 3.73 gears take off my 1/4 mile? right now i have 2.73's.

87 firebird, stock weight, 305, 700r4, holley 4bl, high rise air gap intake, msd ignition, holley fuel pump, headers and 3 inch exhaust, no cat, all motor internals are stock. Best 1/4 mile time 15.6

 

what's your 60'? i'd guess you waste a lot of time spinning. i'd also guess a second with the gear change, but it's just a guess.
