Anyone have any info on the company? I was talking to my mechanic about my T-56 swap and he recommended them. He said I could keep the flexplate I'm currently running and bolt this clutch to it. He said they’re smaller/lighter than stock and they will last a lifetime but they’re a bit pricey. Is this accurate? Does the hydraulic system differ from what's normally installed on a T-56? Anyone have any experience with the company?

Quartemaster makes clutches for the circle track crowd. I am not sure if tey make anything street worthy. Check out Mcleod they have complete clutch/flywheel/hydraulic setups for LT1/LS1/L98 T56s.

The reason I asked is because I was under the impression that I would be able to keep my flexplate if I installed one. This would be somewhat nice to do. I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they say about a streetable version. If not I'm going to go with a stock clutch right now because I've got an offer for a clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate for cheap.

We run Quater Master clutches in our stock cars and I wouldn't want one for the street, Its not something you can slip to take off, at least the models we have. They are either in or out and more often than not spin the tires. I dont think it would be a good idea for the street. just my $.02
