Whats the best torque converter?

I just wanted to know what you guyz consider the best 2200 - 2600 stall street strip Torque converter. I have a 1988 formula with a 383ci, f&B 700r4, and 323 gears. I want to be able to run good quarter mile times but not jeapordize gas mileage to much. this car is mostly a autocross car but i want to spank my friends mustang in the 1/4 mile.
I have heard of fuddle, yank, TCI, precision industries,b&m,and the GM superduty. What is the best bang for the buck?
