I am considering relocating my torque arm mount to the crossmember instead of on the tailshaft of my T5.

Does anyone know of a company that sells an aftermarket crossmember to achieve this? I did see Spohn sells that crossmember for the T56, but I did not see one for the T5.

If it comes down to it I can always fabricate a bracket on my existing cross memeber.

Or, is it not worth the time/effort? My thought was if I can put less stress on my T5 I am better off in the long run.

From what I understand the idea behind moving the arm down to the crossmember is to prevent breaking the trans mount every other year/month/whatever (depending on how you drive ).

Yes Steve sells a T-5 one, or at least, did; I have one sitting in my garage, left over from before I swapped in a T-56.

Maybe that one. Yeah, maybe. That's it. Maybe.

But - I'm warning you, DO NOT click on the Spohn Performance link up there; you might be able to find out about Spohn Performance's parts if you did that, maybe even see what versions of torque arms he offers.

sphon doens't make it.

let me be clear.

I need a Trans Mount for an automatic. I would like the torque arm mount to be on the Crossmember. i don't want to buy a new torque, at least not yet.

The reason why I would like this, is because the tranny I am using Does NOT have a torque arm mount on the tail shaft
