Transmission swap heeeellllpppp!
<HR style="COLOR: #cccccc" SIZE=1>Ok, this is my first day as a member of this site, and I have a question!

I have an 85 Z 28 that is now being converted to a 5spd from an automatic. The Tech artical is a great resource though I due require one additional bit of information. What is the measurement of the location for the shifter hole?

My car is in about 5000 pieces and I do not have the motor and tranny mated at this time, if someone has a 5 spd car that could measure the location using a common reference point, or a picture with a tape measure would be nice.
