Am I going Nuts? Hurst Dual Gate 2.
I could have sworn that a few months ago when I was going to buy a hurst dual gate 2 shifter (console model) it listed TH350 as compatible. Now I went back to look and it now lists 700R4/200-4R as the compatible trans's. Did they change this shifter or are these only listed because they are the most common transmissions in thirdgens?

There are two versions of it.
One is for three speed trans. 350/400/etc
The other is for four speed trans 200r4/700r4/etc
later

So what the hell do I have to do to put on in my car third gen with a TH350 trans in it? I guess I'll call hurst and ask them what my options are...

no,the 200R4 is also an overdrive trans. To my knowledge, the Megashifter from B&M is the only console model available for our cars in a 3 speed version.I haven't shopped for a shifter in a few years, though.

The 200-4R is a 4 speed, as mentioned. The TH200C was the 3 speed automatic offered in the early years.

Well now that I am 90% sure my car has a 3speed transmission in it I am pissed. I really regret dropping $900 dollars on a brand new trans and just listening to anything the transmission guy my dad knows says. I now have an outdated 3 speed transmission in my car and I cant even put a god damn shifter in ym car because the transmission is apprently 15years outdated.... Last time I ever let a mechanic tell me what I "need" and whats "best".

Well my problem would be I'd like it if my car was a 4 speed. I really dont want or need a TH350 despight some of its advantages. Plus I'm pissed I cant put a Hust Dual Gate in...
