best rear end choice
Ive got a blue print 383 carbed engine
Dyno at 405HP
440TQ
Running Headman Headers
MSD Distrib, Electronic Ignition Etc
750CFM Carb from Edelbrock
T-5 Transmission
10 Bolt ww/ 3:73's
I know that the t-5 and rear are gonna blow at some point
What is a good replacement - i want to stay posi and i want to keep the stick wether it become a 5 or 6 speed. I would like some feedback so I dont get the wrong thing or go the really expensive way round
Thanks
Kelham

not to rain on your parade, but that transmission is gonna need some help first! lol that 10 bolt will hold up with street driving... wouldn't trust it on the track though...
as for the rear, if you can find a dana 44 for a decent price, snag it...
otherwise look around for a used 9" or 12 bolt... preferable the 9"
For reference, here's my driveline setup...
t-5 bellhousing, stage 2+ spec clutch, special mcleod pilot bushing, mcleod t56 adaptor plate (bolt an ls1 t56 up to your t-t bellhousing), RPM transmissions viper spec, micro polished, cryo treated t-56, was a lot of $$$ but will take the abuse... they conservatively rate it at 650ftlbs, but it's in fbodies going 9's... 3" alum driveshaft - was made with thicker wall tubing for some extra hp support, forged ends. dana 44 - stock for now - but because that rear is in every jeep known to man, parts are DIRT cheap for it... to upgrade to bigger axels and new internal would cost almost half of what it would for a 9" or a 12bolt... at this point, it's stock and hasn't made a peap behind a 460hp/435ftlbs motor... has a few 1.65 launches under it's belt too! it will have 411's in it soon.
