hi guys, im a new guy to this site and to the whole v8 engine.
I just bought a pretty nice 95 camaro z28 and compared to my saturn it is crazy scary fast! heres my q. when ever im driving and if the car start reving up (like when i gain speed to get on the on ramp) when it shifts it nails my center console. its like when it shifts it a sudden slam on the console!
my camaro has a duel exhaust and k&n cai with a shift kit. is it slaming like this cause of the shift kit? i know when ever i used to race my friend honda prelude and i shift fast and hard it would shudder the whole car! is this whatr its doing or is there somthing wrong with the tranny?
what does the shift kit look like? thanks

The 4l60e trans can be altered through programming to make it shift harder and faster. It can also have 1 of many shift kits in it, to also allow for harder shifts. Transgo makes a kit that is highly regarded. B&M also makes a less expensive, simpler to install kit. I am gonna throw a lock on this because it is not a 3rd gen car.
