I'm considering buying this camaro, 350TPI Iroc Z, with an automatic transmission..
He says he has a transmission out of a firebird formula that he could sell me so I could convert the camaro to a manual..would this work? I know i have to make room for pedals etc but its the same tranny right? itll work..? 3.27 posi rear end..

It can be done, but it's a whole lot of work. The interior pieces won't swap over either. Check the tech articles and do a search. Questions about auto to manual swaps get asked daily.

But I mean I do not have to fabricate any of the transmission parts itself, such as having to machine anything right..? I know the interior pieces will be different but the flywheel, cables, etc will fit right? i dont have to go and fabricate...?

All of the actual "functional" parts are identical between Camaro and Firebird. They're the exact same car, except with some (only a few actually) of the sheet metal and plastic pieces wrinkled differently, and some different stickers and other trim.

One of the different trim pieces being, the center console.

But yes, the trans, pedals, clutch, etc. etc. etc. are all the same. The only snag you might run into, is if one of them has a 86-up motor, and the other has a 85-back motor; in that case, you'll need to change the flywheel. But that has nothing to do with Camaro vs Firebird, just the years.
