My 700-R4 is the stock tranny from 84. I drive the car to and from school and to and from work. When ever I get on it (read: WOT) my car kicks down to second and climbs through second until like 3500-4000 then its like most of the power is taken away when I'm pulling up my powerband, and then the revs jump from the 3500-4000 range to 5000-5500 instantly and then it kicks it to third. Then the car starts to pull in third. Is my tranny slipping? It usually only does this at almost WOT or WOT. Its got me worried that the tranny might need to be serviced soon. If so I just want to do a manual swap. I'm sick of this auto. Thanks for all the help.
