T56 swappers, ground clearance to the crossmember,or lowest point of swap??
Anyone that has made a T56 swap crossmember themselves or used aftermarket crossmembers, what is your ground clearance like to the crossmember,or lowest point of swap???Stock ride height, lowered, etc?Pics at ride height?
I finished up my T56 swap crossmember last weekend and putting the car back on its wheels I end up with 3" of ground clearance!! Now this is with small tires on junk rims that the car sits on in the winters, IIRC they are 205/65-15.The car has Hotchkis Sport lowering springs (1" drop)The tires are only about 24" tall so hopefully with a stock sized (245/50-16) I will gain alot!! The lowest point is only 3/4" under the trans mount.I tucked it up as tight as I could.Aside from this point on mine, everything else on the crossmember is level with the frame or higher in the tunnel,to help clear exhuast when I get to it.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
I have the Spohn one... the driveshaft loop part is pretty low, maybe 4-5"; the crossmember is more like 6-6½".
