More T56 Swap Questions
Im still new to the Third Gen Scene and Im appreciating it more every day, So hopefully when I finish this T56 swap in the Bird I will finally get to see what chevy is All About, anyway has anyone Installed a T56 into a Carburated 350, I removed the Factory Wiring Harness & installed a Ron Francis Wiring Harness and eliminated Every Option....( extra weight isnt necessary).... would make a difference?....but I would appreciate any feedback on this, Also I have an Auto Meter Electronic Speedo, what do I need to make it work with the T56? Finally I drove the car a Few times with the factory 700r4 and it would buck when I would come to a stop, So I figured that there was only 1 remedy for that, a Manual shift and what better way than the T56, and Any advice would again be Greatly Appreciated.

You shouldn't have any problems with the carb and the trans. You will need the pigtail for the reverse lights and reverse lockout solenoid (if you want). I am not sure how the speedo will function since you won't have the signal coming from the computer to the vss. This voltage reference is what the speedo needs to be calibrated.
