Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: t5, wanna be a t56 when I grow up!
Axle/Gears: Whatever stays bolted on behind me!
For those who have done the t5 -> t56 swap
Just wondering you found or picked up your trans from? How much did you pay?

$1 large .... I got trans, BH, shifter, fork, spacer piece things; no hydraulics, flywheel, or clutch. Seems like it was out of a 97 Trans Am but I could be wrong.
This was several years ago, about when they started appearing in the junkyard in enough numbers and with enough age on them that they became a realistic option. I believe they're cheaper nowadays because they're more plentiful; they'll go back up again as those cars start to become less plentiful in their turn.
