Rear End Noise

My rear end makes quite a bit of road noise

can't figure out why

there is a fresh seal on the housing... and i still have plenty of "to the wheel power"

no other noises... just a constant whine when im up to speed
it echos off the curbs too

anybody got their 2 cents... before i start to sell my economy car?

change rear end fluid and add recommended fuel additive. Did mine and it went away. Rearend specialist Hoopers in Sunland, Ca. diagnosed the problem.

I hope the fluid is your problem. I have been trying to find the cause of my rear noise as well, and I've found a few people who believe that there is too much play in my pinion bearing.
