axel seal

Had my car at a shop today getting the lower control arms put in and me and the mechanic were looking at my passanger side caliper. We thought at first that it was shot but then we noticed the fluid was coming from the axel seal. Anybody ever do one of these and how hard is it going to be for me to do? Any special tools needed? Do i need to pull the the gears in the pumpkin out?

axle seals are about as easy as it gets. pull the axles, use some sort of special tool ( like a piece of black iron pipe) to drive the seal and bearing out and replace. make sure you preoil the bearings and seals.
