700r4?
1991 z28 5.0 tpi with 700r4(I think)when I put the shifter in second it shifts from first to second but after a few seconds it seems like it shifts again,if I unplug the ele.connections from the tranny so the converter wont lock up will it screw anything up?

Technically, no. It will create more heat since the converter will not lock up but the trans will still function like it is supposed to.
