Transmission: Th350/4k stall
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.42s
t5 question

i plan on doing a auto to manuel swap. probably a t5. just wondering a buddy of mine has a t5 in his wrecked 91 k5 blazer will it fit into my 91z and is it any different from one out of a fbody.

No it will not fit.

Yes it is different. It has no torque arm mount, it is not rotated to match these cars' bell housing, the shifter mount is about 6" farther toward the front, the clutch gear splines are different, and the gear ratios suck since it's a 6-cylinder part not a V8 one.

thanks i was just asking because he was gonna give to me. also what is a good price for a used t5.
