Clutch Master Cyl Exploded!!!!
I was bleeding my Aluminum Slave Cyl while it was off the tranny bracket, (also has ss braided line) and the line got super firm.... (obviously because the cyl was disconnected now I know
) so i pressed in the clutch pedal really hard and BANG! the master cylinder exploded!
I just ordered one...
my question is... What is involved with the whole replacement... just a couple bolts on the firewall? anyone have any pointers...?

I just replaced mine. Take the 2 bolts that hold the brake master cylinder and move it aside, you dont have to totally take it off. Take the pressure line off with the master cylinder and put it on the new one before you install it.

Yes the booster is kind of in the way, you can work around this but it may be easier to remove this stuff. Its only 4 nuts to remove the booster from the car and 2 to remove the brake master then you can remove the booster. But I might add that to get the 4 off from in the car is a PIA.
