Car: 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA
Engine: 355 Stealth Ram
Transmission: 700R4 w/ 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt 3.27
if you want a hard shift!

If you want a hard shift get ready for this or upgrade your trans this is after 2 years of hard beating its the rear planetary out of my 700R4 so i fied that problem by putting a 5 pinion from PATC with a 2600 stall and their billet servo which they say shifts 35% harder than the corvette which is what it had in it. so tell me what you think. thanks Daniel

Axle/Gears: '01 3.42 10 bolt
both are decent upgrades. i got mine from my place of employment. neither peice is made by patc. the planet is factory in the 4l65e. the servo is made by superior. the real weak point in a 700r4 is the sunshell. get a hardened shell if nothing else. i have a beast sunshell in mine.

i have the beast shell too i dont think there is a weak leak in mine it has been through that was just just what i could think of thats in it theres alot more done to it. Thanks Daniel

His sun gear and reaction gear looked just as good......
- he's had the beast shell. That's the 2nd rear planet that trans/shell/accum springs have taken out. That's why he upgraded to the 5 pinion. The servo was just another plus. The planetary is an AcDelco unit, and yes, the servo is Superior. Both bought from PATC along with his new converter. - This time we'll see if one of my 700r's will stay in it.

- Dan, should have the clutches and such all in tonight, I'll get through the pump and get everything together and shimmed tomorrow and hopefully back in the car. Then just gotta run the wire for the batt. and get her all hooked up for ya. - Don't worry, I'll call ya with the 60fts.......and the 1/8......

ya i bet you will and enjoy every minute of it! your just going to make me want it even more the itch is bad enough thats just going to make it grow but its all good i cant wait. oh another thing my dad told me last night that andrew stopped by last night and he got a new trans put in his and he asked him where my car was? so my dad just said it is at your house but nothing else and then andrew said well when he gets it back call me up im ready to run him he said something about being in the high 12's after he gets a stand-alone system but its a bonestock LT1 so i think he is just talking **** but i dont know the only way he is in the 12 (if he is!) is if he has nitrous but i doubt it cause i know he doesnt know how to hook it up but even so he has nothing done no suspension, free mods so the next time i see him im going to see what i can get out of him. that just makes me want to go ahead and get my M/T DR's just for his *** put him in his place he also added that i should be faster for all the money i have in my car! lol so i dont just want to beat him i want to all out rape him it kinda set me off so pull out everything you have. all the stops i know me i dont put up with that. i saw the head gaskets in CP i know you said their victor and 4.100 bore with .026 thickness 14.95 each give me the go ahead and i will order them thanks bro tell me what you think that.
