What else do I need? (T56 from 700R4)

Click the picture above!!!
So here's what I've got so far. Nice shifter plate, some 01 TA Pedals, and I've got a picture of a 93-97 Camaro Hydraulic master/slave setup.
My question is...
This should work with the 01 pedals right?
Also, I should only get this hydraulic setup if I obtain a 94-97 T56, correct?
Has anyone tried the RETROFIT T56 from Sallys? Since I'm using a mechanical speedo I thought this might be a good idea, but the price is aweful high, and I'm not too fond of cutting the shaft / torque arm.
Assuming I obtain a 94-97 T56 (my local tranny shop said they can get me a remanned one for 1700 with 2yr warranty, and they will buy my old 700r4), what else will I need?
I may have the tranny shop do the tranny install (they are very interested in seeing my project come to life and will discount me, great guys) but I want to do as much work as possible...
I will hook up the pedal assembly and clutch master/slave assembly, and dismantle the console. I can't exactly cut the hole as I need to be able to drive this to them (1/4 mile away).
With that done, all the tranny shop would have to do is:
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Slap on new flywheel/clutch/etc
3. Bellhousing... (since I'm using a 305 Carb'ed, which bellhousing should I search for, assuming I go with a 94-97 T56)
4. Bolt up the tranny and finally the switches. (assuming I'm using a 94-97 T56, should I get a flywheel/clutch that is designed for a 94-97 Camaro?)
I'm sure there's more but thanks in advance!

You need the bell housing that comes with the 94-97 T-56. No other will work.
The 94-97 flywheel will not work. It is for a 1-piece rear main seal motor, but you have a 2-piece rear main seal motor; the bolt pattern on the back of the crank is different. There is no stock flywheel that will work, it simply doesn't exist. You need a special "conversion" flywheel. The usual one is the Centerforce 700107.
You need a different crossmember, as the T-56 one is farther toward the rear of th ecar. Again, no stck one will work; but there are a number of them that you can buy that are made for that, including from some of the board sponsors. I have the Spohn one, along with his torque arm; that combination relocates the torque arm mount point off of the trans, and to the crossmember directly.
The T-56 will not accomodate a cable speedo, as it sits. The hole in it for the VSS is directly in line witht he center of the mainshaft, not offset below it like a cable setup needs to be. The way to solve this is either by modifying the housing, or by using what amounts to a little electric motor that takes in pulses from the existing VSS and spins the cable for you. Look here for info regarding the former, or here for the latter.
