has anyone here changed out their stock servo for a corvette or better sytle servo, did you run into any problems installing said piece?

two pieces of advise, get new o-ring and have a wax stick handy. you will tear the old o-ring out and have to coat the new o-ring to get it back in. at least that was my experience

It is an easy and worth while install. I also installed a larger boost valve in the pump and the 1-2 shift is really firm. If you don't have a manual to show how it goes back together pay attention to the order that things come out.

if you get a billet servo it comes with all new sealing rings and a new o-ring.
Personally I won't waste my time with the vette servo for a performance trans....
I agree on the boost valve upgrade, but if you're going that far, for $40 you just as well drop the vb and use Superior's shift improver kit that will help out all around, plus comes with the .471 boost valve.
