I just wanted to inform users that installing a muncie into a 3rd gen is relatively easy. I recently asked if anyone had done this before, but knowone responded saying they did. I just installed a m20 in my 86 camaro, no special aftermarket conversion kits, or brackets needed. Sadly my saginaw 4 speed suffered a deadly blow this morning and took the 3.73 posi, and driveshaft with it. The cluster gear is now toothless, d-shaft is twisted, and pinion gear now 2 pieces, I guess they were the weakest links-lol.
